Hindquarter is the chunk of muscle which is used to make mince. Unlike mince, HQ requires persistent chewing which can be time consuming. This encourages mental simulation but really making them work for their food. When chewing dogs and cats will have to use different angles of their mouth so their teeth can break through the meat, which makes HQ fantastic for dental hygiene and gum health as it gets between all those little crevices and gaps they might not clean between each meal.
